Added grains to water and brought to 200°.
Strained grains at 200°
Added extracts and brought to boil
Added Fuggles at boil.
Boil 1 hour.
Added Cascade in last 8 minutes to finish.
Cooled to 74° and pitched yeast.
Slight modification to Chris’ recipe in that we used black patent that was cracked. Chris used whole black patent without crushing in his original version. Needs secondary fermentation to remove the sediment.
